The presentation of the “Digital Mahalla” platform (raqamli.mahalla.ijro.uz) is currently underway across various districts and cities of Samarkand region. Chairman of the Uzbekistan Mahalla Association, Qahramon Quronboyev, together with representatives of the IT company Unicon-Soft, are meeting with local “Mahalla Seven” teams to provide detailed insights into the platform’s features and benefits.
During these meetings:
🔹 Key functionalities of the platform that ease the daily work of the mahalla leadership are demonstrated;
🔹 Questions raised by mahalla chairpersons and other responsible staff are answered with practical and reasoned responses;
🔹 Real-time solutions to common challenges faced while using the platform are provided.
At one of the sessions, Samarkand city mayor Fazliddin Umarov emphasized the importance of gradually implementing the “Digital Mahalla” platform across all 215 local mahallas. A step-by-step action plan will be developed in cooperation with Unicon-Soft, and training sessions will be organized for mahalla chairpersons and members of the “Seven” to ensure the platform is used effectively.
In addition, it was agreed that Unicon-Soft specialists would work jointly with local authorities to identify cases of incorrect usage and support data correction. To support this process, the Samarkand city administration will assign 10 additional IT specialists.
These specialists will undergo dedicated practical training on how to use the platform. In the future, they will be responsible for monitoring its proper use, promoting widespread adoption at the local level, and encouraging a digital mindset among citizens.
Similar meetings and training sessions will continue to take place in other districts and cities of the region.
